A beautiful, bright studio space designed for Bone Strength, Posture, and Mobility.

Welcome to the first studio on the Monterey Peninsula to offer clinically proven non-pharmaceutical bone strengthening exercise using the BioDensity Machine.​ Four simple exercises done once a week.

Each once-a-week session takes 15 mins, starting with a warm up on the vibrational Power Plate, followed by 4 simple exercises on the BioDensity machine, and concluding with balance training on the Power Plate.

​The studio also offers comprehensive 25 and 55 mins personal training sessions using Foundation Training for posture, Power Plate for strength, and Pilates Reformer and Yoga for mobility and balance.

Private and Duet training sessions are personalized to meet your health and longevity goals.

THE BIODENSITY SYSTEM Osteoporosis is a serious global healthcare problem, third only to obesity and cardiovascular disease. It is a bone disease characterized by low bone mass and micro-deterioration of bone tissue leading to bone fragility and increased risk of fractures.  200 million people worldwide have this condition with older individuals at a greater risk for developing osteoporosis (although bone LOSS typically begins for EVERYONE around age 25-30). 33% of women and 20% of men over 50 years of age will experience osteoporotic FRACTURES. 24% of those who experience a hip fracture over 50 years of age will die within the first year after the fracture. Prior to osteogenic loading technology and the BioDensity System, physicians had few options other than to prescribe **medications** to combat osteoporosis and osteopenia. The NON-pharmaceutical BioDensity System enables you to generate a brief but adequate force on your musculoskeletal system, resulting in bone remodeling. These adaptive responses are perfectly natural, and the results are both real and measurable. Studies have shown that once-weekly BioDensity sessions can improve bone density to combat osteoporosis and osteopenia, as well as improving lipids and blood sugar (A1C) measurements in type 2 diabetes. Each once a week session takes 15 mins, starting with a brief warm-up on a vibrational Power Plate, followed by 4 simple exercises on the BioDensity machine, and concluding with some balance training on the Power Plate. Your BioDensity experience can also be rolled into a comprehensive 55 min session including Foundation Training for posture training, and Pilates Reformer and Yoga for mobility. THE POWER PLATE Power Plate uses PrecisionWave Technology to send tiny vibrations through your body - up to 50 times a second, activating more muscles, burning more calories, improving circulation, and assisting muscle recovery. **Increase Bone Density Whole-body vibration is a technology that was first developed by scientists in the second half of the 20th century as a way to reduce bone density loss and muscle atrophy in astronauts exposed to zero-gravity conditions. In an independent study of 116 women, the group using the Power Plate saw a 4.3% increase in lumbar bone mineral density while the group that did not use Power Plate lost 1.9% bone mineral density. **Improve Blood Circulation Tiny vibrations flowing through your body enhance the delivery of nutrients and oxygen to cells and supporting their functioning. Multiple studies have shown that whole body vibration increases skin blood flow. The increased blood flow can also help decrease the appearance of cellulite. FOUNDATION TRAINING Foundation Training is a body-weight movement based practice developed by Dr Eric Goodman, chiropractor, to address his own chronic back pain, by teaching people to move naturally and efficiently, reducing pain, and improving overall wellbeing. REFORMER PILATES There are so many physical and mental benefits with this type of training - core strength and stability - flexibility and range of motion - muscle tone and strength - low impact controlled movements - injury prevention - improved posture and body alignment - cardiovascular health - stress reduction - improved focus and concentration - enhanced body awareness Basically ranging from basic rehab to Olympic level. Open to everyone at any age and activity level.. Each training session, whether posture, balance, mobility, or any combination thereof, is available in 25 and 55 min sessions, and is customized to meet you where you are, and formulated with a future outcome based on your health and longevity goals.

Weighted Vests are recommended but not necessary.

STORY

World travelers, camping lovers, best life living, movement specialist, possibility explorers, and parents to two athletes - Mia and Greg Hurst.

British born Mia came to California in her twenties with a love of travel, movement, and adventure. She has been on an evolutionary journey learning how to best serve clients in the health and wellness field in the clearest, simplest, foundational ways for their health longevity, priorities, and happiness.

Greg is a born waterman, an ocean lifeguard turned fireman. alwats being of service to others. With any opportunity you will find him surfing, swimming, body surfing, or spear diving. As a fireman, he has witnessed first hand what can happen to the human body when it is not respected. 

Now as we both face our own aging, and that of our aging parents, we have focused down to what we believe are the essentials for everyone.
